This command opens a signal select display which has a design hierarchy browser on the left and a list of signals to select from on the right. The list of signals displayed on the right correspond to only the signals of the currently selected entity. You can select any entity in the hierarchy by clicking on it. Design subtrees may be opened or closed by clicking on the "+'' or "-'' icons.
When you click on the signal you wish to apply the waveform to, you will be requested for a filename of a waveform file to apply. The format of the waveform file is described in section .
