Save Trace

The save trace command is used to save the waveform of a signal or variable to a file. This command can also be invoked by clicking on the waveform disk icon. This command will display the list of signals and variables that are currently being traced. Click on the signal or variable you wish to save to continue. You will then be prompted for a filename to save the waveform of the selected signal in. Only signals/variables currently in the trace view can be saved because SVE only records the values of these signals/variables.
