26 October 2023:
I've decided to delay the Lab 7 to November 2nd. There is no new lab tasks this week (October 26/27).
However, Lab 7 and the related Assignment 4 are still posted. The submit deadline of Assignment 4 is noon, 16 November 2023. (The due date falls in the reading week. But you can always submit early.)
12 October 2023:
Lab 5, Lab 6 and Assignment 3 have been posted. The submit deadline of Assignment 3 is noon, 26 October 2023.

Welcome to CSCI 485, Introduction to Artificial Intelligence.
Our first lecture starts at
8:30, Tuesday, 5 September 2023, in Building 210/Room 240.
The first lab will be held in Building 315/Room 115 on
15:30 - 16:30, Thursday, 14 September 2023 for Section F23N01,
14:30 - 15:30, Friday, 15 September 2023 for Section F23N02.
It is important for everyone to attend the first lecture due to VIU's No-Show policy. It is important for everyone to attend all lectures and labs anyway. If, for any reason, you can not attend the first lecture session, please notify the instructor (Huizhu.Liu@viu.ca) ASAP.
