- sound engineers (for sound effects)
- actors (for voice-overs)
- musicians (for the musical score)
- technical writers (for the user guides)
- dialogue writers (for the storyline)
- localization writers (for supporting multiple languages)
Software Developers
- for graphics and interfaces
- for the game engine/physical universe being simulated
- for the AI logic
- for the platform-specific issues
- for network code (for online/multiplayer)
- for database code (for MMORPGs and similar games)
- for web systems (for an associated game website)
The QA Team
- for developing and following test plans
- for carrying out playtesting and bug reporting
Management and support
- for handling financing and relationships with the pubishers/investors
