CSCI 161 Lab exercises

There are six lab exercises planned for the semester, each is worth 5% of your final grade and spans anywhere from one to three weeks of lab sessions.

All exercises will be submitted electronically, with details supplied in the labs themselves.

Your computer science accounts carry over from CSCI 160, with the same user id and password. If you did not take CSCI 160 here at VIU it might be worth reviewing the introductory lab for information about computer science accounts, basic linux, etc.

Note that labs begin the first day of class: Jan. 7th

Lab exercise 1: linked lists, file I/O, seperate compilation, and command line arguments.
Lab sessions Jan 7-9, 14-16. Due 10am Jan. 21st.
