| A makeup quiz will be offered in class on Friday Feb. 22nd. It will consist of one question worth 10 marks, and the marks will be added to the sum of your two midterm marks (to a maximum of 100% on the two midterms). The question will involve stacks, classes, and file I/O, but NO NOTE SHEETS WILL BE PERMITTED FOR THE QUIZ. |
There will be two in-class midterms for CSCI 161, tentatively planned for Feb. 13th and Mar. 20th, each worth 15% of your final grade.
There will also be a three hour final exam held in our regular classroom (bldg 315 rm 216), at 9am on Wednesday April 24th, worth 40% of your final grade.
Both the midterms and the exam will be closed book, closed notes, and no electronics permitted, but you will be allowed one double-sided 8.5x11 inch sheet of notes.
If a student misses one or both midterms their final exam mark will be substituted for the missing mark(s).
If a student's final exam mark is higher than their midterm mark(s) then their final exam mark will replace the midterm mark(s).
