Welcome to CSCI 479, Artificial Intelligence with a focus on Machine Learning.

Our first lecture starts at 11:30, Wednesday, 9 September 2026. The first lab will be held on 12:30 - 14:30, Friday, 18 September 2026 for Section F26N01, and 14:30 - 16:30, Friday, 18 September 2026 for Section F26N02.

If, for any reason, you can not attend the first lecture session, please notify your instructor (Email: Huizhu.Liu@viu.ca) ASAP. Otherwise, you run the risk of being de-registered from the class due to VIU's no-show policy.
